Lenore and Bob’s stray kitty who was looking for a home has settled in
quite nicely in her new home here at ChezGeek. We have named her
Five[1], although she often gets called Her Majesty and Princess.
This morning, she complained that someone had shut the door to
the bathroom (which has a window exit to the roof that she uses
to go outside). Shortly after, she complained about the status
of her food dish (empty). Once that was resolved, she wanted to
go outside again, but it was raining. She ran downstairs and
found my SO and cried at him and made him come upstairs to “see
what was the matter” and she went to the window, looked out and
cried at him again. It was very clear that she wanted him to
make the rain stop so that she could go outside. (Now you know
why she gets called Princess).
Oh the flip side, she clearly thinks my SO is God, since he makes
closed doors open, food appear in the food bowl, etc. She was
quite disappointed to discover that he can’t make the rain stop.
